I m having 2.9 year of experience in android java. Now I want to switch to java developer. I have knowledge of spring boot. Spring jpa. Spring security, etc. But I don't have experience on real time application in spring boot. How may I switch to java?
Is it very difficult to.switch without any prior experience in spring boot?

Can non creatives successfully become content writers and managers?

I'm being recruited to be a firms content writer and manager (along with essentially being the first sales hire and will build out their sales process/playbook).

I've done a small amount of content for a previous employer as an assistant to the head of content and my new employer is familiar with it. They know I understand at a high level their industry. However, I don't consider myself creative.

Am I doomed to failure?

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

How's the ethics exam for VA licensure ?

Anyone know anything about what it’s like to work plaintiff-side? Would it be dumb for someone with stellar credentials to leave biglaw for plaintiffs’ side work?

Nobody has really ever explained much about this side of private practice to me. From what I can tell based on my experience:
(1) their cases are usually really weak (maybe my biglaw defense-side bias)
(2) their lawyers tend not to be as highly credentialed
(3) would offer better experiences for junior litigators

I’ve been a lawyer past 10 years in a mix of law firm and in-house but now debating an adventure in some non-legal role. I want to explore but keep the path path to law open. Has anyone does this? What is a normal pay cut to go in house? For reference, I am a 5th year corporate associate making approx 250k base salary. I was just offered 180k base salary. Is it unreasonable to expect to be around my current rate which is “market” for my city?
