Staying in your current company should be best for you if you are already well settled in your role and work. Try to crack other companies with higher CTC to enjoy the actual benefits of a job switch

I think if your company agrees to mention retain amount on paper rather verbally then its a good idea to stay another couple of months atleast so that you can ask raise on this amount after sometime when you ll try to swtich again..
You must be an asset to company which is why trying to retain twice..Stick to it..but make sure its on papers.!

Retention seems best option here considering the given market situation. Plus you're also inclined more towards retention as I can see you have added recession tag as well! Within fishbowl, do a quick search for posts since last month tagged with Nagarro and Impetus, you'll get to know that there are very limited options and most of them are on bench and searching for something to work on. If you're not luck enough, you could be one of them post 8 Dec! Not trying to be rude, just stating out facts that you can verify by yourself as well...

I have not heard good things about the project

Leave Legato man.. All the benefits they used to offer 1 year ago are now not there in the company. You will not see the growth in your career in Legato.. You will just earn money but the projects and all are not good now as onsite people will have good qualitative work where as Legato associates will work on something which is not actual work.. As your package is growing in Legato your worklife balance will be at stake.

like

Impetus is bakwas…. Nagaro benefit is wfh now… not sure about other things

Stay in Legato, but have a healthy discussion with your leader. Explain them why you are looking for better pay again and again outside and you are thankful to them that they are retaining you. Assure them that you will be stable for few years. This is very important because they knew that this is high time they need to remove dependency from you and prepare for any further attrition possibility.
At last, i feel that WLB is much better in Legato than other service based companies you got offer.

like

If WLB is the issue then leave the job asap, that's the thumb rule i follow.

like

I wouldn't repeat what others have already mentioned. There is another aspect I would highlight. If you have been working in Legato for 2-3 years continue for 1 more year make it 4+ or 5+ years in one organization. Also instead of looking at just the salaries try looking at the designation which you are being offered. Getting a designation higher than expected will propel your career quite a lot.

Taking the retention seems good in your case

Come to nagarro , chill in the bench 🥶 and if lucky get tired with client interviews ( they have multiple rounds of client interviews)

If the project is good in your current company, no doubt choose retention, as you may not know the project. Maybe you can use that time to prepare for some good product based companies which provides RSU

like

If you can ask project beforehand in nagarro and impetus then it's good , else don't chose them as many people are on bench as per other comments also.

like

heard that Impetus has no bench policy. are you sure folks are in bench in Impetus?

If your relation with your team is good and assuming you are a good resource, then you are definitely needed in your team. Stay there.

like

Stay in legato for a while till this war and recession ends. Legato is a decent company and by far as i know , wlb will remain same for most of the companies and its your luck that you get into a project with less work(its only happens in tcs) . If you want to make a switch , try to get a stable company with good benefits and wlb.

like

Few companies like ADP, ATT interviews are in pipeline

I suggest go with Nagarro

like

If he is interested to chill on bench for sometime then good option

Join naggaro .work environment is way better in this organisation

like

If you are well settle in your current organization then I won't recommend you to switch

like

If salary was the only concern that drove you to resign, I don't see any harm in getting retained no matter how many times you had been retained in past.
If you want to get out of comfort, then take any of the other offers.

like

Sometimes work life balance is at stake otherwise Legato is good, intention of this post is to find how hiring and firing is happing out there ..
Thanks 🙂

Arre sir.. mat jao mujhe akela chodkar legato mein.. Yahi raho please🥺🥺
