I’m a senior consulatant at CGI with 11+ yoe.I have been offered senior manager application devlopment level 8 role at CIBC ,Canada.The compensation that they are offering is 130 base and 15% target bonus.Can anyone please help what a compensation ideally should be for level 8 role at CIBC? Should i expect the compensation more for Senior manager role?Is target bonus the fixed amount of our compensation or it might go down to 10% also if you are not exceeding the expectation? Please advise.

I switched firms this year to a boutique (~15 attys) that pays out sizable year end bonuses (I was told during the hiring process at least 75% of our base salary for associates). Finishing 90 days in new role and I am doing really, really well. The only thing is that I get the vibe that people in management and my peers feel that I’m arrogant. I take feedback well or so I think. I ask questions when I don’t know things and I admit and own things when I’m wrong.
