When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

What is a common salary for experienced associates in PWC Advisory practice? 2 years of experience. Role would be same as current role in current firm but expanding on responsibility, work load, etc.

Is it expected that people who exit from MBB/Deloitte at post mba levels (PL/EM/M) take paycuts when going to industry? (non FAANG, PE). I'm In process at multiple internal consulting/strategy groups who say the paycut is part of the trade-off for less hours/no travel.

But as a female🐠, I can't discern whether this is just a negotiation tactic. Mentors have told me never take less pay.

For reference, this is at a comparable industry equivalent level (not clear up/down)

I am 6.5 years experienced i am relieved as senior software engineer from my last organization and the company I joined gave me senior analyst position and when I joined in they gave me designation as just engineer it feels like demotion to me some of them say skills and work experience and monetory growth matters not a title and some say otherwise what are your opinion?

I have some experience with SQL but all school related and not on the job. I have a strong background in workforce and project management. Any ideas on how I can see myself for a analyst role that uses SQL despite not using it on the job. I am proficient in excel as well.
