Is this a good enough offer for Berlin location? Appreciate some perspectives here.

I asked for a raise since I’ve been at my company for 1 year and because cost of living is up 6%. My boss recommended I hold off asking for a raise now and in 6 months he’ll see if I can get a promotion with a bigger raise bump.

He said even if I ask for a COL adjustment now it may make it harder to get the CEO to agree to a promotion in 6 months.

I know we are busy, I know this is my job, but dang, it is a lot more pleasant to work for the midlevels and seniors who say please and thank you and show a tiny amount of respect and appreciation.

I actively avoid working for midlevels and seniors who just bark at me, never ask, and never say thank you because it just shows they don’t care about being a half decent human.

I work at a small agency. I asked for a raise and was told you can get one in a few months if you do X,Y,Z but also keep in mind you make (on the low end of) what your position should make.

My question is—I wear many hats within my agency because we’re small and growing—So while I may be an art director, when needed I’m also a PA, or a production designer etc... SO shouldn’t my salary reflect that??

Got aoffer from a local tech startup as a entry level AE-MSP. I am 22/M and been with my current company for only 2 months as an AE but hate everything about the job except the pay and W/L balance. I’m tired of working from home and wanted an opportunity to work at a team based social environment for some time, so was excited to hear about this offer. How do RSUs in a PE owned firm work? I’m in early stage interview with such a firm and RSUs are part of the comp. I assume I would need the PE firm to sell or IPO the company in order to realise value from the RSUs. Is that right?

Offer help - yesterday I’ve received an offer from DataDog for Services Architect 3 role on their expert services team (ProServe) - pre sale solution and engagement.

Offer was as follows Base: 155k RSU: 22.5k (90k total over 4 years, 1 year cliff).

I currently make 170k base + ISO (private company so kinda hard to evaluate). I’m 4.5 YOE

I said it needs to be more in 210-220 range in order to switch. She’s going to talk to the manager on Monday and get back to me.

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”. I manage a small team of analysts who service the Helpdesk for a product that helps banks/ hedge funds do their regulatory reporting. I've been doing research and l've been seeing salaries ranging from 65k to 130k. I offer an MBA and a year of experience as the client service manager. What would you say is fair compensation for this role and my experience?

I am an account executive responsible for new business and renewals. If i equip myself to do product demos and not depending on the solution specialist, can i demand an increase in base salary? Or overall package? Please share your feedback.
