In the interview process for Russell Reynolds. Anyone have any experience with them? Understand what they do; however, is it a good career move? What are the exit opportunities like? Comp any good? Any advice would be appreciated.
I recently went through an interview process for an investment banking role at a well respected mid market bank. I had two rounds of interviews, and the second round was with two VPs. All interviews went very well - conversation was great, and I got enthusiastic verbal feedback during and at the conclusion of each interview. It’s been three weeks and I have heard nothing, even after 2 follow ups to HR. I saw on LinkedIn they hired 2 people. I assume I got rejected - thoughts? What do I do next?
Tax exit opps - what would you target as a good exit once you hit manager in public? What about at senior manager?

Do McK / Bain do lateral manager hires? If so, is there an active pipeline or more based on specific group / office need? And what’s the most effective way to apply (ie how critical is a referral)?
How is the risk practice at MBB? Do you work on the same work as big 4 risk? Where do most people come from.. ie ex big 4, internally trained, ex bankers etc. What would help a candidate from a big 4 risk transition to a position in risk at mbb? I'm going to be entering a big 4 in risk, but would like to switch to mbb at some point in my life.

I'm a Manager at RSM in consulting, and finding myself presented with the potential opportunity to jump to a very small consulting firm in a leadership position. I'm intrigued by the possibility of growing a small firm and be outside of PA, but not sure if that's a good career move because of the opportunity that the larger PA firm brings. Anyone done or considered any opportunities like this?

I just finished my onboarding/training for my first job out of college (22), and I start my first real day of work on a BizOps team Monday. What other lines of work exist that still (some) operate under a private partnership / LLP? Seems that EY and PwC partner path is only getting longer with less upside. Anyone aware of any exit opps to smaller private firms (consulting or otherwise) which might be a more direct path for high performers?

I got some good news that one of the accounting firms I associate with is starting hiring again for September 2020. If you have 3+ busy seasons with a Big 8 firm and were laid off or looking for work, feel free to message me for more details. I am paid for referrals, but I don't need the money so no hard sells😋 hoping to help our laid off accounting people. Admins feel free to delete it not appropriate.
