I am going into a second interview for a project coordinator position at a new manufacturing company. I have gotten information regarding the number/type of projects I’d be handling. I expect the question regarding compensation is coming up. The PC job posting listed a $82-90k pay range. If I say $85-95k how will they perceive this? I feel somewhere between $90-95k would align with my professional experience. Thoughts and input would be much appreciated!

Any firms actively hiring candidates for public sector cloud? I have years of consulting experience serving civilian federal agencies (public trust), AWS-SAA and CSM certified. Looking for opportunities in PS cloud as a cloud consultant/solutions architect. Would love an internal referral and/or a chance to learn more about the opportunities. Can provide resume upon request. Anyone who has anything, please DM me! Thanks 🙏🏼
Should I feel bad for not wanting to schedule meetings after 5 or ad-hoc? I feel like being remote has taught me how sacred time is and I’m more than happy to give my 8-5 to work but after that I just wanna be with family, unless it’s urgent of course. It really bothers me when people try to schedule things after 5 or randomly at like 7pm ping me asking if I’m free. No, I’m not.
Firm just required us to get a booster shots (presumably even to WFH). Advice on whether it’s worth stirring the pot and trying to avoid compliance? I’m vaccinated, but honestly just don’t want to get a shot every quarter, which is what the progression is looking like.

Tips on breaking into a tech BDR role? Im currently working in an amazon delivery station as a shift manager - I'm wondering if certificates such as becoming a cloud practitioner or a salesforce administrator would put me in a good position to land an AWS business development role? Are these certificates valued in the BDR world?
Currently work as a VP of Sales with 15 YOE. Im managing a large team and revenue target for a growing business. The money is good but I can’t help this nagging feeling of doing something else. What options are there to move into consulting but not the typical post-MBA consulting role? For example I know McKinsey has their implementation business where they’ll hire experienced sales and marketing execs. What other opportunities are out there? Is the pay good? What’s the WLB like?

Who’s hiring? Looking for a healthcare consultant position asap. Remote, no travel. Have a masters and few months of experience. >100k comp. Thanks.
I currently work as a data scientist and was recently contacted about a FAANG product analyst position and encouraged to apply. since I am currently working as a data scientist (non-FAANG) and I feel like going from a data scientist position to a product analyst position is not a lateral move and wouldn’t be a good career move given my skills and experience (Ph.D, advanced stats/ml training). Anyone have any insight into the differences between FAANG DS vs. PA roles?
Is it a bad look as a senior associate (on the path to manager within a year) to be driving an expensive car like a C7 or C8 corvette that is $70k+? I don’t think it is and here’s my rationale. I’m making over 6 figures, maxing out my 401k and IRA accounts with extra $ going to a brokerage account, I have a 3BR 1300 sq foot home with finished basement and garage for $170k. My two loans are only $240k combined. Heck most people spend more on a house alone. Work remote so vette isn’t daily driver.
Does KPMG give a stipend for WFH? I want to buy a new desk and office supplies I just started today
I live in Sydney, Australia and am looking to move over to NYC in the coming months and get a job as a Strategist (I have ~4 years experience, my Fishbowl profile is out of date). At the moment, are people are getting hired remotely/over Zoom calls etc? And to be clear, I don't mean working remotely, just the hiring process. Normally I'm told its pretty much impossible to get hired if not in NY (And still in Aus.), but I'm thinking now could be my chance. I would need to be sponsored though.
Can someone tell me what to expect in an interview with someone from engineering for a PM role? What are they looking for and what tips do y’all have? First time PM so not sure what to discuss or what the questions will be on.

This is my first time interviewing for tech consulting specifically!

Anyone successfully negotiate maternity leave in industry? I feel like the only reason I’m staying in B4 is for the maternity/parental leave benefit. It’s hard to find a tax manager role in industry with a comparable 16 weeks paid leave. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
