Mason Frank recently reached out to me for a position. This would be my first Salesforce position if I am successful in the interview process.
I have heard mixed reviews for this practice. Would it do undue damage to my Salesforce career to have that as first Salesforce Practice in my resume?

I recently made the jump from consulting back into industry. I think I made a mistake, not in leaving consulting but in the company that I joined. Not sure the interview process really gave me a good sense about any of my exit options. How have people been doing their due diligence to make sure they’re making the right move?

Recruiter from Amazon reached out for a phone screen for a L7 role st Amazon - Principal Product Manager, Technical. I'm a first year M and have been in consulting mostly. I do have the technical expertise the role requires but no product management experience per se. Think L7 at Amazon for me is a reach. My concern is if I interview and fail, I will be barred from interviewing from another role for 6 to 12 months. Should I give it a shot or save my chance for something more realistic (e.g. L6)?

Is all Corporate culture the same? I’m on a team that prides itself in working late hours and my manager is constantly giving me projects beyond my bandwidth. I was thinking of pivoting just for my mental health but if burnout is like this everywhere I might not leave.

In the ongoing debate around defunding the police I heard a quote that I can’t shake from the former police chief of Camden. He said it is easier to build a culture than to change it. In this case, they dismantled their police force bc they were simply bad and built a new one that was good. Wondering what the od / HCM fam. thinks about this? I’ve been working as a management consultant for 3 years in London across a range of industries. For the last 1.5 yrs I’ve been internal environmental lead. I created our sustainability strategy, tracked carbon emissions, applied for B Corp, set up company campaigns and currently looking at SBTI. Would it really stunt my future earning potential to take job w/ ~25% pay cut? It's probably what I was making over 4 years ago (I have 6+ years experience) which seems ridiculous but otherwise thinking about leaving without another offer at this point.. therefore thinking the time off with no income could equate to that pay cut anyway before landing another role.
