Thinking about moving to a big city with the following preferences. I am thinking about Dallas, philly, or Chicago. What’s your experience living in those cities? Is there any other city I am missing? Appreciate any input! 1. Growing economy and population 2. Great food scene and things to do as a young professional 3. Relative LCOL can’t afford housing in NY, SoCal, etc. 4. Diversity of culture especially Chinese culture presence

I would love to hear experiences around Atlassian recruitment. I love my current company but Atlassian is a leading giant in tech and could be a good career move. Any insights into churn, req loads and culture/perks would be amazing. Insight has been fairly light so far other than people really love working there. I’d like to know more about why.
Hi guys, I have an offer for a similar role at a product based fintech start-up that's giving 9 lacs fixed and no variables and from a AI based start-up offering 11 + 1 variable. I have heard some awful things about the work culture at the AI based start-up, while culture seems fine at fintech. Policies suck at both the places, leaves healthcare etc. Any kind of advice and wisdom is welcome on what to choose. YOE : 2.2 years
What’s the wlb/culture at firms outside MBB/Big 4? Been at Deloitte for a couple years and am ready for something different. Thinking OW, LEK, Kearney, or others you know of.
Ok… so kinda random question. I’m a HR professional, middle aged female, dress conservative and play the HR role and fit the “professional image” well at work. I REALLY want to get a full sleeve tattoo.. I’ve put it off because I’m afraid how it will affect my image in my professional world, but also feel life is short! Does anyone have any words of wisdom as to how this may affect professional growth being in HR?
Any information on Akerman? Culture? Hours requirement? Pay? They have remote positions now, not sure if/how that affects pay.

I got a grad internship offer from LEK, but am concerned about the culture. I’ve heard that LEK has turned into a sweatshop, even by consulting answers. Anyone from L.E.K. Consulting have any input they’d be willing to share about actual hours?
Interviewed for 5.5 hours today at a boutique IB today. Base comp is a slight bump. 14 mos in FDD @ PwC who will make senior this CRT - love the role but want to see more of the transaction besides TBs and TB detail. Comp isn’t a huge bump but the IB seems to have a good culture. 20 people. I really am struggling. I worried about FDD golden handcuffs with limited exit ops. Please advise!!! How should I navigate this and assess it from an unbiased perspective. Thx!
i’ve spent 5 years at a well-known “cool” brand working on “cool” projects and am... miserable. the culture is super toxic, it’s all flash and no substance, there’s no strategy just kool-aid drinking. I’m in offer-stages with a boring-ish brand who is changing fast to focus on modernizing & innovation, and I’d be coming on to lead a new department with a lot of influence and a major salary increase. my ego is making me freak out to go to an “uncool” company. can someone slap some sense into me?!
What is the best product discipline/culture companies in Canada. Does Faang companies have a good culture to grow?

Put in my notice (3 weeks) and got asked to stay an extra 1.5 weeks. I agreed because I'm taking the summer off and so my end date is flexible, plus a little extra $$, but now I feel so blah.
What's a believable made-up framework I can take credit for? Something like Engagement Model that really means ... you are all idiots and need to pick up the phone
