Just got into a full time grad program for international affairs that starts in January of 2021. (completely changing careers). If you have to pay back a sign on bonus do you get back the withholding on it when you file your tax returns? For instance if the sign on bonus is 10k, there si withholding on that. So you actually receive 6k (assumption). But if you leave the company you pay back 10k no? How do you get the 4k back?

Just joined ey as a manager. How quickly do you expect your managers or seniors to get up to speed on a client that may be a bit complex? I usually as a manager would give people atleast one season. Just wondering what senior managers and partners expect if managers. The client im on is a bit complex and it’s taken me a bit of time to learn. I’ve been on it for about 3 weeks now and just getting the hang of it. The director is pretty kind and said try your best there is a learning curve on this
