Hello - Happy Friday! I currently work in Legal & Compliance @ Morgan Stanley. For a while I have been thinking that compliance is not 100% fulfilling for me. I find my job repetitive and not as challenging as I’d like. I am a top performer and I manage several different process/initiatives on top of my base responsibilities. I am looking for a role that is heavily involved in building and maintains relationships as well as problem solving. See comment for additional info. Not enough space!

Thank you

I have a friend who works at Facebook and they are hiring account managers right now. It sounds very exciting for me. The role requires relationship building, problem solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, and there is a sales aspect to it which also excites me. I’m not sure if they would even consider someone with a compliance background however. I do have retail banking experience so some sells experience.

You could look at front office risk supervision. It’s all about relationship building and while some tasks are the same day to day, your days will won’t be the same day to day.

Risk is definitely more interesting than compliance. There is more grey area to work with and more ambiguity.

I’d honestly consider strategic HR. Working as an HRBP could be extremely rewarding for you

Usually I get asked about job referrals at Freshworks. Here's how it works. When an opening has lot of applicants and when we refer a person they are placed earlier in the queue for screening round. However the interviews and selection criterias are purely unbiased. All applicants are evaluated or shortlisted the same way.

Could anyone brief me about sfdc.Com technical architect position in salesforce company. There are four rounds first two will be technical but 3rd round will be business use case prepare and present in an hour. Could anybody throw some light on 3rd round??

Hi MBB Software Engineer fishes,

I recently applied for a position in one of McKinsey’s recently acquired firm for Senior Software Engineer (Team Lead).

The interview process is so damn easy - A medium level Hackerrank test, interview with company CTO and then behavioural round with a McKinsey Director and offer extended.

Wondering if this is a red flag.

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Is RPA sales engineering a good career pivot now? Have been in Cloud SE for 5 years and it is getting mundane. Forget about the Data and AI, realistically majority of the work is around VM migration + RFP + Pricing + pushing commit 2x more than customer's current need, instead of really adding technical and business value to the customer.

RPA seems to be on the rise, there are certainly risk but the value + technology seems to be closer to reality. Love to hear more.
