How long does D take to give interview results?
Public accounting busy season. Each year. Every year. What doesn’t kill you…
I hate the 75 Hard’s one-size-fits-all, all or nothing approach. But if you really want to do a mental toughness challenge, start with 75 Soft or try training for a half/full marathon.
I don’t see the point when the majority of the time, you’ll fail. How about setting up a commitment to workout 3-4x a week and making that a habit first? Or tracking your calorie intake for a month. Changing so many habits at once is just asking for trouble tbh.
75 hard is a terrible mental health challenge unless you are trying to ruin your mental health. There is no flexibility, no room for a normal life. It sets you up to fail from the start. 2.5 months with no cheat days, no rest days, nothing but the plan. I don’t know you’re life, but I have life events to celebrate with friends and family nearly every month. No “challenge” that is good for your mental health would ask you not to participate, or participate to a lesser extent. Do your workout, but eat the damn cake.
I agree with K1 - start with walking 4 days a week, or drinking a gallon of water or read x book in a month. I am training for a half marathon currently and that’s a mental challenge, but allows for flexibility. I can move workouts around, have 2 rest days, I eat to fuel (not diet), but I still have to get those workouts in and treat my body properly to meet my goal.
I also agree that it’s a tough challenge, but that is the whole point of it. I have read many successful stories of how it changed peoples lives. I definitely need to change up my habits and become more responsible. But I also don’t want to set up myself for failure
