Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. Good Morning. Here's my dilemma. I have an approved H1B application which got picked up in 2019-20 lot and approved in Jan 2020, before the world went into lockdown. The stamping process was initiated but it couldn't complete as the USCIS offices were shutdown die to the pandemic. I have watched patiently about all the regulations Trump Administration brought in to deny any entry to H1B applicants who weren't already working in the states or who were waiting to return.

Got off cycle pe offer but they want me to start in feb. I can get my bonus and leave my firm in better terms if I can push it out a few months. Any advice on framing or do I just suck it up and go?
