. I applied for multiple position and I just got interview with google. I did some digging and everybody advises to do Leetcode but i don't have a solid background in data structure and algorithm.
should I learn Data Structure and algorithm before starting Leetcode?
Would appreciate any tips or good way to study.

4 YoE as a systems analyst/business analyst for a fintech based out of NC. Got promoted twice, base pay went from 62k to 93k, bonus went from 8% to 20%. Hi All, looking for your suggestions, please. I'm working in Australia as a TA Partner. In my current company, they offered a yearly hike of 4% for all employees who is in the particular slab amount. But I'm not happy with the rise because I'm supporting as a recruiting sys admin and involved in the project works along with my BAU. How should I approach for asking a pay raise? Is it a good time to ask as I got the 4% last week?

I'm a Marketing student and was recently offered part time internship positiom on the marketing team of really cool FinTech Venture Capital company .During the final interview , I luckily asked for their pay range for interns and almost fell to the ground when he said $30/hr min. I would have said $18/$20 if I hadn't asked him instead .The average student earns between $15-$20 ...so it sounds really good but that's only an opening offer. Should I ask for a higher amount like $35 -$40?

I’m pending an offer from Visa Inc for a Senior Director role and want to know some guardrails. The recruiter informed me in our very first call that Visa “doesn’t pay cash to bring people on” and alluded to not offering a sign on bonus or RSUs. This is very strange to be competitive in the tech world. Would love to hear input into pushing for both equity and sign on as part of the offer. Thanks!

Do employers care where you went to college in industry and public a few years into your career?

I work for a top 15 firm & CPA but did go to a non-target. It's a really small commuter college.

I haven't felt like its impacted me but I can tell you there are very few grads from my college that work at top ten firms. Some firms don't have a single grad from my college based on searching linkedin.

Would industry look at it?

Anybody else seem to get sick right before or during PTO? This has happened to me every time I’ve taken more than a day off for the past year and has nearly ruined two vacation trips.

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I jumped on a call with a candidate to debrief from his interview results I asked him how felt it went and if he enjoyed the interviews. After he shared with me his feedback I started to highlight the areas where he did poor and where he did great. But in the middle of it he cut me off and said, can we just address the elephant in the room, did I pass it or not?. I have a video interview this afternoon for a role I applied to even though I didn’t think I was quite qualified for yet. I applied because it does align with everything I know besides bookkeeping. I figure they must be interested to request a video interview. Any tips on how I should go about selling myself and making myself stand out even though I am not experienced in the bookkeeping part of this job?

Can someone give me insight on completing projects for interviews? I’ve interviewed for a very associate level role that pays ~65k. The interview went well but now they want me to not only do a SWOT analysis on the company as well as present for 45 minutes on a 4 person panel. I’ve done assessments before for interviews but this seems a little excessive based on the role (eCommerce specialist) and pay range. Has anyone experienced something like this before?

I recently interviewed for a position that was below my salary requirements so the interviewer forwarded me a role that is inline with salary but quite a bit outside of my skill set (and interest, tbh). How do I politely reject the opportunity while keeping the door open to other roles more closely aligned with my career goals/interests?

Could there be any repercussions if I sign an employment contract and then change my mind to accept another offer? I am waiting for a response from two other companies but by Monday I have to give an answer to the one that already made an offer.. thank you!
