I’m new at this but I really want to including w how people are getting into the world of film, storytelling, and all around making magic. I’ve been following it all my life and I still spend most of my time making and writing stories through forums and Discord. I want to do this for a living, but I have little clue on where to start. I’ve already tried my hand at screenwriting, and it’s not all bad once you have a vision for how you want things to go.

Do firms typically share closing binders on M&A deals? Putting one together and an associate on the other side offered to share theirs whenever I asked for a particular document that I was missing. Is it an insult that I had to get them to give me theirs?

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

Are there any firms that have data-related practices in the public sector? I know most firms have some public sector practice but nothing that relates directly with data.

I work at a small Midwest ID firm doing mostly MVAs for an Insurance Carrier.
