That’s really good. Just make you’re “investing” and not just “saving cash” and keep doing what you’re doing!

I would start to transition that money into index funds. You’re losing out on money due to inflation so something like the s&p 500 gives you like a 8-10 percent return annually so I’d go that route. Savings accounts are giving you less than 1 percent it’s just not worth it you’re better off holding that case in your basement. Lol I would look into some REITs as well. As the returns can be nice.

Consider increasing your 401k contributions to max out and make sure you’re maximizing your employee match program if applicable.

Look into investing strategies and move cash savings into investments that fits your growth and risk profile. I’d look for maximizing long term growth instead of savings, unless you have major purchase coming up, like a home. Congratulations on getting to where you are.

I recently joined Accenture - my SO is a PHD student and was on my insurance. The university wants to charge us 3K for their insurance since we can’t provide proof of insurance until the new benefits go through. New benefits are supposed to be in effect but we enrollment has been delayed because Accenture lost my Domestic Partner tax form and I had to resubmit. The issue should be resolved by Friday but the school is charging us tomorrow without exception - do we have any recourse?
