Just finished my first week in BL (I clerked the year before) and the imposter syndrome is unreal. I am paranoid, can’t tell if people are toxic or trustworthy, can’t tell if everything is fine or if I’m about to fail horribly and they will just watch it happen and not care. I’m so paranoid right now. How do you find people you trust? How do you trust that everything is okay if there’s no indication things are not??

I've been moving around strictly for salary purposes. I like the job I’m at now but a recruiter reached out about an opportunity and I listened. Fast forward, I got the job offer with a base of 300k. I generally like the job I’m at now and it’s not that stressful but I’ve only been here for 10 months.

For a Roth IRA- is it better to purchase an aggressive etf with low fee (like VTI) or an aggressive active managed fund (FBGRX, which has a higher fee) taking into consideration the tax free nature of the Roth.

I’m about to whistleblow on my non-profit organizations’s bad ethics, potential mismanagement of funds for personal/family gain, disregard for health/safety concerns, and their retaliation against employees for bringing up those concerns. I’ve been back from Mat Lave for 6 months and recently sat down to meet with my new Supervisor to discuss future opportunities for advancement and express that I’m hoping to have a salary review soon.

Hi Fish Fam, does anyone have experience with therapy that could give me some insight? I’ve used therapy before and it seemed like the psychologist just wanted to talk me through how to better think through things. While this is helpful, after about 4 or 5 sessions they don’t see a reason to continue sessions. I thought you see therapists for months? I don’t understand how it’s supposed to work, but this has happened twice now
