Hello, I am a support teacher in an elementary school. I have a classroom library with an LGBTQ+ section. I would love to do a unit on LGBTQ+ history and/or people. Has anyone here done that in an elementary school setting? I admit, I'm afraid I would get in trouble which is so frustrating to say the least.

Is anyone else returning to fully in person learning? We have been hybrid/synchronous since September, which has been very hard and not very effective. They want us to have all Kindergarten students come back in March. I want to stop live teaching over google meet all day while also teaching my students in person at the same time, but there is not enough space in my classroom for safe distancing, not enough space for movement, and sitting at a desk all day is not appropriate for K kids!

I have taught Pk-2 (full time aides) & SpEd inclusion K-8 with parapros. This will be my first time alone in a classroom of 27 3rd graders. What is your favorite project to do in 3rd??

What projects are working for you on a cart? So far, weaving and fiber is going great for me. It leaves little mess in their classrooms and doesn’t require a ton of supplies on my cart. Supplies are also inexpensive.

I have a student with autism. He is mostly behavioral and at a lower learning level so he has to be in a separate classroom. We try to let him play with the students at recess or join in class parties. He has a sibling that attends school as well. When we were waiting in car line a group of girls talked about how they feel so bad for the sibling because of my student. Thankfully, neither student or sibling heard. But how do I respond to that as an adult? Especially, if they do hear?

Echo and nuclear leaders and techs: is your facility 1) requiring COVID testing before exercise stress testing, 2) wear N95 and PPE, or 3) both testing and PPE?
Our clinic is removing the cost barrier of testing but staff are worried about risks since echo rooms don’t have HEPA or negative pressure systems and patients are allowed to remove their masks while running and breathing heavy during image acquisition.
Have you had good / bad experience with lack of Covid testing before stresses?

Curios to know if the RE bowl think there will be a crash in RE prices since it was at a peak for the past couple years, a lot of realtors are saying no it won't but a fisherman won't say his fish is stink so I don't put much weight on their opinion.
