What would you guys chose? Current job at a growing agency where I’ve been expecting a raise in position since 6 months but my boss quit and i have no leads now Vs. New job with start up agency, senior position but same pay as old job I’m soooo confused!
A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
Here's a real money post. Just got a 2K raise and pretended I was grateful. Fuckin' advertising.
Parents in Consulting. How do you manage consulting hours (50+ hours) with children? What does your schedule look like?
Husband and I would love to have kids in soon, but we're both super dedicated to our careers. Have any of you stepped away from your career for a couple years to raise your kids? How did it go?
If you had a chance to leave your firm and go to a smaller firm with a niche in an industry you are interested in and receive a $30-40k raise would you go? It would be a lateral move from a title standpoint.
Anyone know if there is early promotion for PwC?
I’m a jr cw and I’ve been with my current shop for 1 yr. Should I take a job offer with a 20% raise that would mean working with a less creative client? Worried about stagnating my career growth.
First year to Second year Raise Percentage. Go!
Any suggestions on how to find out what’s my market salary? I’d like to request a raise that’s backed up by research of what market is for my location/practice area/firm size. I believe I’m making less than I should be. But, other than asking similarity situated people I know, I have no idea how to find this information.
Raise your hand if you're still at work! 🙋🏻
Any of you currently stuck on year-round audits since joining the firm? Does this limit one’s path to manager promotion? What do you do to continue developing your experiences?
Philly BTS - those who made senior in Oct 2017, what are your raise expectations from us for Oct 18? Running preliminary numbers, this group should average about 12-15% to make up for PY, with the

When you are the only female in a big meeting and you literally have to raise your hand to say something because you don't want to talk over others.
Will someone please explain to me why Biden refers to blacks as “roaches” in this video? I understand it is a racial slur from the 1950s that meant “come out at night to raise hell, and scatter when you turn the lights on.” My first instinct would be that he has dementia and accidentally used a term that he used when he was younger. However, the left asserts Biden is of sound mind. I can only be left to assume he used this term intentionally. Is he just racist then? I’m confused. https://youtu.be/3DbE2SmV2bs
Is it true that BTAs at Deloitte only get a fixed $500 raise when they get promoted to Consultants? This would be very disappointing!
I recently received variance in snapshot to DTE hours, saying I need to raise additional snapshots to cover 80% of DTE hours, but the performance snapshot window is closed now. Any idea how to proceed with this?
Ah now it did.

Thoughts on utilization? Why is this metric so important in the consulting world, beyond ratings/internal contribution? Should this not be the responsibility of the firm rather than individuals?
