Hello! I am an LCSW working in a private practice (not my own) in Utah. I became fully licensed within the last 6 months. I’m trying to figure out if I am being paid a competitive rate. What kind of raise is to be expected going from a CSW to an LCSW?

Hello fishes. I'm a MBA graduate currently working as a digital marketing professional in a mid size consulting firm with 3 years of experience.
I am terribly underpaid in my current org at 5.5 LPA after a recent promotion and annual appraisal. Another mid size consulting firm offered me 7.5 LPA but I am asking them around 9 LPA.
Am I asking too much or shall I take the offer of 7.5 LPA

Looking to make a jump to industry. Is 30-50% raise in base too high, low, or right to ask for? Bringing 3 years exp. with 1 full-time strat

I’ve accepted an offer for a Senior Marketing Manager role and have agreed to start in October. I’ve had a 1-week trip planned for end of November since before I started interviewing.

When is the best time to raise this with my new employer? Now while waiting to start? Or upon starting? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Will you disclose your IVF journey with your employer/manager? There are some day surgeries that are coming up. I am also on track for a title promotion in a couple of months (discussions not confirmation).

I’m starting to realize that your performance depends a lot more on leadership’s perception of what you’re doing than what you’re actually doing. You could be kicking ass if but if you’re not intentional about getting airtime with leadership for visibility, then it affects your promotion…am I right?

1) Do we need to sign an employment bond, if we are offered an opportunity to go secondment/STA for few days/months with an onshore entity of the PwC Network?

2) Since secondment opportunity is offered to a select few, what does it mean for that individual in terms of growth, in terms of compensation and designation.

3) Can we negotiate and get a pay raise before signing an employment bond?

How many months at jg5 one needs to be , before getting jg4 ? If one joined shell at jg5 but has more exp like 9/10 years ,can he be promoted early to next level or can we ask for early promotion in shell?

Is it feasible to push from promotion from SM to D with under 1 years tenure at the firm, or would that not be entertained? Opportunity in the team, SM grade is over staffed with more coming in, no Directors, and have been high performer (based on metrics, sales and developed strong network)

After 6 months but out of all
Some got 10%
Some got 20% and some 25%

Why is that?

Is support project or development plays any role?

Have a report that does great every day work. Keeps the biz running. Wants to be sr but lacks the drive and overall just not that good doing big idea creative work nor dealing with clients directly. I tried mentoring them, but they’ve only show slight improvement. They are due for a promotion, but doesnt feel like they have the chops. What should i do?

I’m not sure if I want to pursue being an MD or not. I was up for promotion two years ago and took myself out of the pool in order to ensure I could be home with my family. Now, I’m being encouraged to “go for it” again this year. What are the real benefits of being an MD? Is it really the pay increase? Undoubtedly I have much of the responsibility if not the accountability, and I am ok with that.

For the junior associates out there, I’m a 2020 call and am convinced that I’m taking a lot of time while working on deals. I’m also not really sure how my efficiency compares to other associates as I’m the only junior in the group. Hello! I was offered a position at the middle of the posted salary range. I exceed every one of the requirements and all but one of the preferred qualifications. (I will have my Supervision designation in a few months.) Should I negotiate a higher salary now or when I obtain my new license? Would it be appropriate to accept the current salary under the terms that I receive an increase once I get that increased licensure status? Thank you!
