I lost a baby at full term pregnancy (no genetic cause) and we are ready to plan for a second one. I am wanting to go through IVF because the genetic testing would rule out any bad surprises that could come later and also my husband and me are carriers for AMD. I am lost where to even start from. Would I need a referral for IVF? Will I be paying all the cost? My husband’s company has a plan but I don’t know if we would need to qualify?

I've applied and networked for my dream job and didn't get an interview this time. Also dissatisfied with compensation and some of the responsibilities at my current job but have a lot of opportunity to learn. So the question is do I stay where I'm not thrilled to be now because it's good experience to set me up for the dream job next time there's an opening, or do I leave now to an option that's better pay and more interesting but farther off the path towards my long term goal?

Super niche fields—- I’m a solo and I’m always interested in researching super niche fields to add to my offerings, which is currently mostly a transactional business practice. I thought I was meeting with an executive search person to discuss my background and what I’m looking for. She asked for my resume beforehand, normal. When we got on the call she said “I’m talking with you today about a Director of x role.” The next 45 minutes was intense interview, then 15 minutes of her saying she is putting my presentation together for the CEO (hiring manager) to review. And if he doesn’t like me she has other clients who would.

I am a career nanny who previously owned and operated her own nanny referral agency in Hawaii for five years...then Covid came along and wiped it right out of business since March 2020. I feel like my entire identity has been taken from me especially with Covid and vaccine mandates.
