What should my title be?
Hello, EAs! I work for a small PE Consulting firm where I have been the EA to the CEO, CAO and MDs for 4 years (15 YOE).
I’m transitioning into a more ops/HR function developing our HR dept (we currently use a PEO) from scratch and will have 3 EAs reporting to me. I will be heavily involved in recruiting, benefits, payroll, 401K, training, mentoring, morale & culture & moderately involved in biz dev and marketing.
What would be an appropriate title for this role?
For project management, I would look into entry level certifications like CompTia Project +, and then target roles such as project coordinator, entry level project manager, etc.
