I’m currently one of the largest media agencies and we don’t have a comms practice. I’ve applied for connections strategy roles at other agencies but haven’t heard anything back. Looking at my skill set and the job description they seem very aligned. Is it a super competitive field? Where is the most opportunity - creative, media or PR agencies? Is this a dying role and that’s why there aren’t larger teams/available positions?

How can I word an email follow-up with a recruiter to let them know that I am weighing my options in regard to job opportunities and would like to keep this one on the table? I don’t want to say it exactly like that because I feel that it sounds too direct. But it’s been a little over a week since my last (final) interview and I’ve had no follow up from them. Thanks in advance!

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's ALM in Management. They both have the same requirements (generally speaking) including a capstone course that serves as a field immersion course with the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

What are the pros to working in house? Feeling jaded in an agency but not sure if the grass is greener
Hi everyone - I am a Tech Recruiter with both agency and in-house experience. I’m looking for a remote role ideally, but can be flexible for the right opportunity. I’m currently making $125K with a bonus and would like to stay around that range. I’m currently employed, but it is not a long term fit due to some dissonance in our culture values as a company. If you have any leads, please feel free to reach out!

WTH?!?!
Can anyone explain the value of a recruiter if you are consistently locating and sending them relevant job postings? They are always lovely to speak with but I’m wondering if it is better to just apply directly via a firm’s website? I understand that firms have to pay recruiters a not insignificant sum for placements and want to remain competitive when applying. Thoughts?

Looking to do M&A and I’m working with a recruiter who accidentally emailed the conversation she had with the hiring partner.
