I see a lot of opportunities to do contract reviews or other corporate matters in states I’m not barred in. I don’t typically take those matters, but I’m curious what those rules are. I’ve definitely seen large firms handle out of state contracts and acquisitions all the time and I actually know other attorneys who do it too. I just haven’t gotten comfortable with that. I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead Product Owner and the head of HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.
