I'm at a large company in a small team (not hiring) and as a PM (3YoE), I have 9 products (mix hardware/software) and 4 projects under my name. Between support calls, marketing updates, part numbers, etc. I don't feel like a "traditional" PM anymore and instead I feel like I am just putting out fires. I am on a great team/company so I am OK (for now) but I'm seeing videos/posts from other PMs and feel like I am not learning/using the skills needed to advance should I end up leaving. Any advice?

The challenge is meeting the right people. I recall in the mid 2000s where I interviewed the co-founders of Webaroo. I was red hot with a podcast of interviews I recently launched. At the interview’s end, these multimillionaires volunteered their help. Nothing! Ugh!

Considering an exit to a startup that just completed a solid series B. They’re willing to provide competitive comp package and surprised how large the base is for a startup.
