Hello.. I had 2 rounds of Interview with Mc Kinsey, Europe. After 2nd round, the recruiter has set up a 30 Min call to discuss the Interview feedback. Does that mean rejection?? Need suggestion please.

It could be an offer OR further discussions needed around next steps (if applicable). If it was a rejection then they would email only, based on my recent experiences interviewing in the UK. Check on Glassdoor for interview process for clues.

like

Thank you for the response. Will check on glass door too

It could go either way but congrats on making it this far! What's for you is for you, don't think too much about it!

Thank you so much

It could go either way but if its a rejection we email the rejection first then offer to set up a call for feedback if they want it. If we dont tell them its usually a pre close call basically to figure out where they are in their other interview processes/ when they would be able to make a decision and if their salary expectations have changed since the initial screen so we can make an offer at an appropriate place and deal with that before it goes through approvals. Also to get feedback on our own recruiting process.

Thanks a lot for detailed info

It really just depends. I wouldn't stress yet. Just take the call and see :)

Hi! I’m a first-year associate working at a large regional firm. I attended a well-ranked, but regional law school and my grades weren’t stellar. School was never very motivating for me, and I put way more effort into internships and networking than my studies during law school. Luckily, I love to network and landed an awesome job at a big firm. Eventually, I’m hoping to work in-house. My question is this, will my grades always follow me? I’ve heard that with time and experience, not so much.

Good afternoon, please can I reach out to any HR/Recruiters or TA specialists for some advice. I am trying to transition from recruitment into TA and I am not having too much success. Can I ask any TA specialists what is the most important skill or experience you are ideally looking for when you employ someone in this area? Sadly, I do not have internal experience, however I have years of recruitment experience at all levels, within different industries. Any advice. Thank you. Michelle

Hi - I am pretty sure I will receive an offer for a university HR role paying at least 150K. The recruiter says "everyone here pretty much " works from home. I need a remote position for a number of reasons.. I'm concerned because the job posting says its a hybrid role. I am not that interested in the position itself but the money is great, it is a dir. position and it would advance my career. I'm willing to come in for meetings but hybrid is out of the question. Any suggestions?

Ive sat with it for a while and I think it's because - and some of you can rightfully get your tiny violins out here - I haven't actively applied for jobs since I was a grad. Every job I have had has come from connections or referrals, but now I'm actively putting myself out there, I feel vulnerable.
