Hello! I had 4 rounds of interviews and a project submission round for a large company. I finished my final interview on Monday morning. Does anyone have experience they can share about the timeframe from final interview to offer/rejection?

Is it common to request either a time guarantee (2-year contract for instance) or a greater than normal amount of severance when interviewing for roles in times like this?

I am about 20 lbs overweight. I have been following a clean diet for the most part and exercising regularly (strength training 2x, walking/biking 2-3x). I tried getting started with HIIT workouts, but I wasn’t able to complete even a 10-minute workout, which really discouraged me. How can I ease into this? What's the point of this question?

We ask our candidates this and I don't really care what the answer is. It seems like we're asking the candidate to lie to us. The real answer is always unflattering.

"I would like better compensation or better working conditions"

"I was fired from my previous job"

"I don't like my manager"

"I have disagreements with management"

All terrible answers. And any "good" answers come across as fake to me.

Just me? I don’t get it. I’ve interviewed for 3 large companies for a financial analyst (FP&A) position. Never heard back after 2nd-3rd round but I see all 3 being reposted. These positions at least have 100-200+ applicants. For my last job interview I made it to the 3rd round after 2 rounds and an excel test. Hiring manager even said they had to interview other applicants before coming to a decision (all 3rd round applicants passed excel test) and now none of them are qualified for the job?

Hi! Has anyone been asked for their references before the first interview? This happened to me while interviewing with a large International Construction Company. I was quite shocked by this as I feel it is inappropriate to give out others confidential info to people before you have even met. Also ones references are only going to take 1 or 2 calls as people are busy and if they used up on a first interview and that doesn’t work out then you are left in a bad position!! Thoughts?

Hello, I have an upcoming interview with a large healthcare agency as a case manager. I'm incredibly nervous even though my education and previous employment match the minimum and preferred qualifications. I am looking for specific insight into interviewing at Square for a supply analyst role. I am not worried about interviewing so much as I am the technical assessment. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge of the interview process they can provide? I have learned excel and data analysis mostly by self instruction.
