Is it typical for big 4 firms to take a while to reach out after one submits an app? For context, it’s been about a month or so and I have not heard anything, my status shows under review… all apps had referrals as well and they were for consultant and senior consultant roles. Any insight would be great, thanks! EY Accenture Deloitte

Are there any recruiters from IBM who have information on their apprenticeship program (Soft Eng)? I have applied and my application is under review. How much knowledge/skill set does one actually need to get into the new collar program? From what I have gathered online, it's kind of a mixed bag and can take a long time to onboard someone. I am self taught, know the basics of two languages and have some small projects to show. Just wondering if there is anyone that has been through this process.

Sorry to hear about this, but unfortunately sometimes this happens. It happens that you know everything went well, but still things didn't work out great at the end. Main reasons: may be they were already interviewing other candidates and was on the verge of selecting one. Secondly, may be they actually didn't prefer you and was just being nice to you. It's disheartening, but it's better not to think much about this and move on. It happens to almost every one in their career and it's just a phase 😊 Happened to me many times & unfortunately mostly with big tech giants!
