Interviewed for S&O role and wanted to share. Recruiter told me to expect problem solving and stakeholder comm, behavioral and case type questions… It ended up being one 25-min interviewee-led case. I was surprised given all that I had read online about RRK and GCA and Googleyness and the pride Google has in its “unbiased”interview process… it felt like any other MBB interview where your case interviewer decides your fate… guess S&O is just like any consulting firm…

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! What does an N/A rating mean? I’ve been on STD leave most of the cycle for mental health issues and have worked a small portion of the cycle. Before going on leave I received feedback that I was in between CME and NI. I was really struggling in my newish role wfh especially as a new parent and my mental health in a very bad state during all of this. Can they put me on a PIP off of an NA rating once I’m back from my leave? Not sure what to expect. Has anyone experienced something similar?
