Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. hey, I’m in need of some advice! Hopefully, I haven’t screwed myself over..so I get a call for a job and they initially offer $62k with a $1000 sign on bonus, I countered at 65k bc I knew I deserve more pay but I was afraid to actually ask for much more than that. They verbally accepted my counter offer but have yet to send me a written offer I can sign. I completed research on the position and salary for my area and realized I aimed low. I countered again at 72k. Was I wrong?
