Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

I’d ask for whatever the current going rate is. The economy has marched on so you should get what everyone else is getting. You shouldn’t dock yourself for raising a kid.
I think you would have no problem asking for the same, if not slightly more. I think it really depends on if you have kept up with current industry standards. As others have said, it really depends on the market rate for the position, but rates have gone up pretty much across the board since Covid. Hope you get an offer!
As a sales assistant? Where? I dont know of a sales assistant that makes $160k salary
Definitely ask for the same. It can be tempting to feel like you deserve less after you've taken a break, but full-time parenting keeps you sharp, ha! Just stay confident during your interview & know that staying at home hasn't diminished your worth. Good luck!
2 years parental leave? Woww!!
Yeah, my son is autistic and when he turned 18 his behavior became unmanageable. I had to organize a hospitalization, legal framework, medication, medical support, and new living arrangements. It was no cup of tea..... it took two years..... my doctor told me we had achieved a lot in this time frame because I had the right support.
So I had my interview. The HR lady is low balling me. I told her my number, and asked what the budget was. She didn’t precise. We left it for later.... which is not a negative. I am rather senior for the position, however I would not like to loose an opportunity to get back in the game again. I have missed working....
Market rates change, so I’d suggest finding out what those are before negotiating.
When hiring, we set a salary range based on the value of the work. Whether a candidate made more or less doesn’t affect that. Unless they bring something significant to the table that we think will produce much stronger business results than we would’ve expected from the role agnostically, we’ll stay in our range. Where they fall in the range is based on how they stack up to other candidates and our existing employees.
