Hey everyone, I have been trying to break into the data science world as a strategy consultant. Have put in numerous hours after work and on weekends to learn programming/ DS and algorithms, ML, and statistics. I now have a pretty good resume of personal projects, but am having trouble getting any interviews. Should I go get an MS or keep on trying to find a job as a data scientist? Thank you for the advice.
For those of you with ADHD, do you have any tips for managing workload and inboxes? I didn’t take meds for a few years due to pregnancy, etc. but I started again recently. I was position where all of my work came from a single partner and 75% of my hours were days long depositions. I’ve recently switched firms and now get assignments from 4+ people. In addition to managing tasks and structuring, I get distracted when responding to emails and have trouble getting back to my actual billable work.

I'm looking to pivot from consulting into tech. I've gotten lots of interesting from tech companies on the ops side but am much more interested in product management. Any advice on books or courses to help make the transition? I'm struggling to land PM interviews at companies that aren't tiny startups :(
I have an old relationship with a c-level client leader that’s having some issues with someone at my company doing work for him. I’m not part of that work, and I want to help both sides. It’s fixable but puts me in an awkward position, e.g. needing to call out one senior person in my company that maybe isn’t a good fit there when I don’t really have any details other than what the client/friend tells me. Any guidance if you have been here? Thanks.
Currently in R2 with Bain & Company . Interview was scheduled 3 weeks apart from R1. Now they pushed my interviews another week. What should I do? I’m worried that other candidates with offers are asking to speed up their process or maybe it’s just that Partners are very busy. Thanks!
Anyone in Microsoft Cloud & AI strategy team? I have an interview tomorrow and hoping to discuss some last minute thoughts
25. At MBB. Thought I wanted PE but I’m thinking FAANG PM type role might be better now. Ultimately I’d like to start my own business. Where are people who join PE 4-5 years down the line vs those who join FAANG?

What is the average salary for a Tax Consultant II in the central region(Houston) for Deloitte ?
Hey all, I find that in interviews I have so much content in my brain, examples, etc and I’d love to learn how to express things in a better way. Putting thought to mouth. I find that when expressing complex ideas, I put them in terms that don’t exactly reflect my true thought (such as over simplifying) and I end up underselling. My initial thought is to watch more content, read more to learn phrasing, etc but I’d love thoughts from seasoned professionals. Any tips welcome!
Yes, it's called an interview. With the competitor.
Deloitte is actively hiring for staff through manager positions in the M&A transaction services (MATS) tax group. Feel free to send me a private message if interested.
Do Deloitte and EY offer higher comp for Non-MBA masters degrees? Or is it like PwC where comp is same for all degrees that are non-target MBAs?
