Hello, I joined EY as fresher and its been 8.5years im with the firm. Im an assistant manager. Now I'm looking for change as my CTC is just at 9.2L p.a. (excluding variable pay) I feel like I'm underpaid. Another company is willing to offer me 15L p.a. is it a good deal? Or should I ask for more?

I am potentially getting an offer from Meta as a product manager, in active interviews now. Any comp gut checks available for an L4 or L5 product manager? They won’t give solid info on comp until the offer, I don’t want to waste my time. Also, any insight into work/life balance in this type of role would also be helpful. I received an offer with a tech company for ~$200k base and ~$200k RSUs vesting over 4 years. This has come up on a few recent threads but could someone please comment on how to think about the RSU piece of the comp? What generally happens after 4 years? How much does a product developer for a commercial insurance company make?

Being a technical PM feels like I have less ownership.
All decision making is done in the presence of engineering and data science. In addition to that there is another PM that actually leads the UI of our overall application so often times they are the ones directly interacting with a user and giving us requirements very much in a waterfall way. Is this the nature of technical product management or there’s something that I’m not doing right?

Any Canadian PM’s ever make the leap south of the border for FAANG? How did you land the role? How was the process?

Has anyone else's product kind of been at a stand still with growth and changes? I'm at a startup right now and all of our metrics are declining, our MAUs are declining...our product is only 4 years old and has hardly changed in those 4 years. Our roadmap is very much leadership driven..not product driven. Product has been wanting to do so many things but leadership forces us to tackle 'low hanging fruit' with no ROI. I'm patiently waiting for them to realize they need to let product do product

I’m 16 weeks pregnant and haven’t told anybody at work. My team is organizing an out of town networking event next week (60+ people) and I’m getting second thoughts about attending (mostly because of covid or any other virus I could get by flying in or attending). Am I overreacting or being crazy for thinking this way? I officially told my department’s lead EA that I was quitting and she was so rude. She told me I was immature and questioned my abilities, asking me how I thought I would succeed at my new company if I couldn’t succeed at the current one. Like ma’am, excuse me?

She also kept telling me I was the problem then turned around and asked me what they could’ve done better with EA onboarding. I told her that they did everything perfectly and I was, of course, the problem.
