I am running into quite similar issues in almost all of the companies I have worked so far: Most of the senior engineers just exclude me in the important technical meetings whereas I am doing an important part (technical) of a project. They either think I am not knowledgeable enough for a particular task or just that I am good at doing some non-technical/manual task. I feel I’m not assertive enough to make manger, and have been struggling to work on projects that actually interests me. I’ve been looking for new jobs but nothing stuck so far. Hello everyone. Is anyone in the process of joining D-USI ? I received a 3rd revised offer letter about a day after the “market adjustment”. I contacted the HR and informed them that there were no updates on it, and they said a new one will be sent with updates.

I’m curious as to what these updates are. Anyone else facing something similar ? I’m assuming it’s minor changes to the T&C, and not a comp update.

I have been with the same company for 15 years. I really am getting the itch to leave. Quite a few people I know have left the company for other companies in the area that are paying significantly more even for lateral job moves. My current job offers a lot of flexibility and as a mom to a 1 and 5 year old I am scared to not have flexibility. But I really feel I am worth more than I am currently getting paid.

How are Master's degrees in HCI viewed within the industry?

They ended up repurposing it for a print on a dress. I haven’t added it to my portfolio yet, but I just came across my illustration on a portfolio. The girl who replaced me after I quit took my line work from the illustration and slapped their logo in the middle and put it on her portfolio as her work for the brand.
