I got a verbal offer from ACN two weeks ago, and the recruiter told me I could expect a written offer in a few days. I haven’t receive it by now…followed up with the recruiter today, and she told me hopefully I will get it over the weekend or by Monday. Is this normal? Should I be worried? If your going to consulting I would say that all of your current skills are already enough. Network, know the firm, practice case, have a good story to tell, and you should be fine.
Your skills are pretty much up to par, so I would try to network or find a referral to one of these companies you're interested in. I think looking through university alumni and reaching out to one of them on LinkedIn is a good start.

Admittedly, having an internship on your resume will have you a competitive edge, but it's not the end all be all. If you can prove you have some real-world or hands-on experience, you can still shine through in the initial screening process and then prove yourself in an interview. For me, I focused on building a portfolio of data science projects/articles on github and medium (specifically towards data science) to show that I knew what I was doing and could apply the skills even though I didn't have a structured internship.
