I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?
(I've heard that other SDRs were earning around 40k EUR 70% base salary and 18k EUR 30% variable earnings, in Ireland)
My company is looking for mid-level contract recruiters to do mostly direct sourcing and candidate engagement. Potential to go perm. If you’ve done a mix of tech, finance and searching for direct hire management consulting talent that’s even better. Remote position. Must like cold calling. $35-$40/hr

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?
Laid off in May and now applying for a new full time role w previous employer. I’ve also been approached by someone in a related team at same company for a contract role through at least next May. The hitch is I’m 4 mo pregnant, due in late Feb. I feel like I’ll need to disclose this for the contract role but I don’t want to potentially jeopardize the FT opportunity. What would you do? So far I’ve just said I’d be interested in considering the contract if the FT position doesn’t work out.
Buying puts on GME? Am I too stupid to join the hedge fund losers that are potentially looking for idiots like me to take over their positions? But logically all short squeeze ends at some point. On Thursday when price dropped to $100 then rose back to $300, that’s the shorts covering their position so guessing squeeze is already coming to an end?
Hi all! I am looking for a fully remote HR Generalist position. Currently working a hybrid position. I am 3 months shy of 7 years experience in HR, currently based in New England but moving to Florida in the fall. Please reach out with anything that may be a fit!
I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.
Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?
I have not yet accepted the offer.

It's becoming more and more clear to me that my company is discriminating upon women and minorities. I don't have a very strong case for discrimination for my personal situation, but I'm becoming increasingly enraged about the systematic practices that I'm observing.
I've opened up an inquiry with HR on one issue (clear disparity in candidate offers b/t women and other underrepresented candidates vs white/Asian cis men), but I'm wondering if there's more I should do.
Any words of wisdom?

Hi ladies! I’m a severely burnt out funeral director looking to transition to a new career opportunity. I don’t know where to start bc my career is incredibly niche and I have no clue what I can do to get ahead. I’d ideally like to get into tech but anything that isn’t emotionally heavy like funeral service would work. Has anyone gone through something similar?

I think there was a blue wave but a massive voter suppression by the administration, they pressurized USPS to deliberately delay deliveries of mail ballot in key battleground states. This should be investigated! (Don’t ask me for evidence go find it for yourself)

I am currently working as a L3 HR associate partner and is looking to move into a L4 HR partner role but my manager keeps saying I should shadow someone in order to know whether the L4 role is for me. Does it make sense that they’re asking me to do this or should I just go ahead and apply for these L4 roles? I kinda feel like it’s a strategy to keep me in my current role. I’d appreciate any advice on this issue.

Most of my experience has been freelance and I'm a self taught engineer. Though I have worked with a vc backed start-up @100k my first real employeement and later with a smaller company @85k in a different state.
I just began working with a larger company @100k and I know I have more experience then my first gig.
The offer I accepted is one level anyway from being senior.
Any suggestions for communicating/building a case for seniority/pay increase?
Hey everyone! So I’ve been working as a sales engineer since January after graduating in December. But I just recently found an opportunity to jump into a entry level software engineering role that I am thinking about pursuing. Should I do it or should i stick with being a sales engineer? I would initially be taking a 5-10k pay cut but I’m thinking it would pay off in the long run. Is it worth it? What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Do you think they will cut pay for these tech companies? Before, they’d raise salaries to keep employees and encourage new hires, but now I’m sure they know about how hard it is to get a new job. Im talking banoit positions like SWE, PM, organizational positions, etc
Idk, just a thought.
1. What area of tech are you in? 2. What new tech skills are you working on to become more marketable?
