Should you switch companies for 5 - 10K and a more specialized title?

I’m so done with sales. I’m burnt out and uninspired with my job. The pay is nice, but I need something more fulfilling and less stressful. I want to be able to keep working while I figure out my “why” but I don’t want to rip my hair out in the process. *7 YOE, 6 mid market, 1 enterprise* Any ideas for an easy transition job away from sales that isn’t a giant pay cut?

Found an opp, it’s my exact skill set, I get a title increase (VP), paycheck decrease, but made up in bonuses. Worthwhile? Brand name is meh, but is fintech.

Is a switch from RSM audit to Big 4 FDD a realistic transition? Normally I’d consider an internal transfer but with all firms being strapped for talent it seems like jumping to a new firm would be a better call if possible

Did an exchange program gap year after college and landed in Deloitte GPS this fall, but thinking about trying to get into MBB because I don't want to do public sector long-term. When would be a good time to apply? Should I wait til I have 1 full year at Deloitte, or does it not matter that I only have a few months under my belt? Ive just failed the final round at McK risk. An experienced hire & only had 3 weeks to prep. Feedback - everything was great apart from the quant part and that I should re-apply. Made minor calc errors in two interviews (formulas / logic was correct and answers were within 1-5% from correct ones). Wonder if I can reapply for McK generalist/implementation sooner than in a year? Also if anyone at BB would be interested to refer me, please let me know ☺️ FS /IB/ risk consulting / strat - 5 YOE.

Considering the changing job market, I'm looking at getting back at big4 asap that helps me get my career on track to get to IB, VC, PE.
