I already did the pre interview call, assessment, technical phone interview with director and now am invited for the (I believe final) on-site virtual interview for a quality assurance engineer I role. Does anyone have any tips or is able to chat about their experience? They said to block off the whole day as it is around 4 hours with a panel.

How do you plan out your dates for maternity leave? I do not want to work up until my due date because I do not want the added stress prior to birth. I also want to give the people covering for me some clear instructions and don’t want to deal with going into labor while still in the middle of managing projects. My company does STD for the first 6 weeks but there is a one week “waiting period” that’s unpaid unless you put in PTO. How do you plan your last day knowing baby could come anytime?

I just started working somewhere that doesn’t let you add work email or calendar to your smart phone (sounds like a dream I know), but I’m so used to using my phone for these especially to get reminders for meetings while WFH. Anyone also work somewhere like this and do you have any tips? I guess I can manually add work appts. to my personal calendar but that seems tedious.

This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’ve applied for jobs 3 months without any luck and thinking about taking a break to study for a certification before the headcount of 2023 comes out in Jan-Feb. I’m wondering if my application traction is low at this time because of the holidays (US based).
