Who wants to get an apartment in Jersey?!
How're the betting pools looking right now?
PwC I think our (up to) $20,000 referral bonus (for getting in a senior manager/director to the global mobility services group) seems to show more a sign of desperation especially as competitors offer $3,000-$4,000 for a senior manager referral bonus. What’s the deal?
Have a certain number of that experience level been promised in the sale of the practice?

Wow! This bowl exists. I am so happy.
Make sure to study up on the fundamentals of components and componentized design. Learn as much as you can about how to create atomic & molecular designs; get up to speed on Figma, and demonstrate that you can create interactive prototypes. Become conversant in UX purpose, terminology, and methods. Understand what front end developers need to be successful, and learn how to communicate with them. And learn about why & how products create & deliver value; you're not just designing for aesthetics, content & communication anymore.

As a career transitioner myself from graphic design (print) to UX [many companies use "product designer"], I can empathize the journey you undertake.
To be quite candid, receiving advice from a public forum is like playing the lottery, IMHO. There's very little effort going in, and zero end-results. Many will give subjective advice that worked for them, which may not work for you. This is a long journey ahead, similar to a marathon.
You should consider the services of a career coach. The good ones will enable you to discover the best solution for yourself. (And not give advice.) Ones that come to mind are Whitney Hess and Sarah Doody. Both have deep design backgrounds. Whitney is a certified career coach. Sarah runs a UX career coaching service.
Another route is finding a mentor via adplist.org. Again, this is getting free advice. You get what you pay for.
I hope this helps and best of luck.
