I hate how we give so much of ourselves in the mental health/health space, yet we don’t earn enough to take care of ourselves. Hope you get another job with more pay that values you soon!

Seems low. What state are you in?

like

Well that’s not sitting well at all with me. None with a family could survive off that miserable wag. Some people have argued (well they choose to work there it’s there own fault) THIS MAKES ME WANNA SET MY HAIR ON FIRE

What degrees or certifications do you hold?

I think the pay is too low.

That pay is WAY too low. I think you can find more in MD, but also might be worth looking at DC or NOVA

Wow, that’s unbelievable! I’m sorry, OP, but I would take your worthy of more self out of that situation. That’s a shame because you’re so needed in that role, but you have to be able to pay bills!

If you can't find a referral here, I would try over on Linked in. I usually have good luck over there! Best of luck to you.

I had 9 rounds of interview in Goldman Sachs for a role in Bangalore office. I was getting regular updates from the hr within one or two days after every interview, however after the 9th round I did not hear back from the hr for two weeks. I followed up with the hr and as per the hr, they are awaiting feedback from the hiring manager what does that mean? Is my candidature got rejected? Is there any probability I will hear back from the hr team? Kindly advise.

Currently in a specialized sales leader role and in the next 3yrs I’m wanting to take my skills/knowledge/experience independent and start a sales consultancy business. I have a niche I plan to focus on but was wondering what can be the pitfalls or things to be aware of going independent?

I just got an offer for a lateral position and have until Feb 12 to accept (I’m going to). They’re eager for me to start. Once I accept, it won’t take long to clear conflicts so I could theoretically be giving my firm my 2 weeks as early as next week. I have had a vacation planned for a while the last week of Feb (2 biz days in a remote cabin) — is it bad if I take it during my 2 weeks notice? Or should I postpone my start date?

I had a third round interview with a Fortune 100 company. I’ve been working with the main recruiter and schedulers to coordinate interviews, including one with the hiring manager. I was never given the hiring manager’s email, but based on other emails, I can easily put it together.

My referral says I should just email her to follow up to show resourcefulness, but my gut says that’s a bit creepy as and feels a bit desperate. I’m still in the time window for when they would follow up. Any advice?

I’m having major buyers remorse on my new role. On paper it aligned with my experience, now that I’m 3 months in it’s become a living hell. Part of my issue is my director (no manager or lead in between) has no time for any of us analysts all 3 of us hired within the last 6 months. It’s frustrating seeing so much criticism yet getting little to no help - and I’m pinpointing 90% of my issues here to my director who is without a doubt either on uppers, or a sociopath….continued in comments

Does anyone in healthcare have thoughts on this type of fasting? I know it is done in some cultures and religions, but to what extent?

I will be taking over a new team in our call center department at my job this upcoming week. I've been with the company a few years now and something I've noticed is NO ONE uses cameras but I've seen tons of people recommend it for teams. I am thinking of making it a requirement for my new team. I was thinking of starting off with once a week and moving into every other day so that it's not too much change at once. It will only be required for meetings. What does everyone think? Do you do this?
