Hello, I'm a mechanical engineer with 8m of experience in the cement industry as a maintenance planner. However, my passion lies in design engineering, particularly in vehicledynamics. I've developed skills relevant to vehicle dynamics engineering through internships and involvement in student racing clubs. Despite applying for design engineer positions, I've had no luck so far. I'm considering leaving the mechanical field and exploring opportunities in data science. what's your opinion on this?

Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.

Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.

I’m a banker with almost 4 years of specialized industry time. Healthcare for profit side, I finished my MBA and I am looking to pivot.

I’m stuck comp and title wise due to re org and other things out of my control so I am getting fairly burned out.

Worked with a company for 15 years was at the ceiling for my position decided to leave. Now the company I currently work for is not what I was originally hired for causing me to get my resume out there and it seems like the one question I keep getting asked about may be dragging my interviews down. Why would you leave a company after 15 years?

Left a job I love (WLB + Product + Team) for a similar role with double the comp (literally double) and a better brand name company (so-so industry). Guess I’m more financially motivated that I thought haha hope I don’t regret this 😂
