I’m in the interview process with a company for a growth marketing manager. I really like the role, it’s definitely up my alley. However, I was told that the role will have me reporting directly to the CEO. In my current role, I’m reporting to my CEO and it’s a nightmare. Constant calls and check ins. Hello All, my joining date needs to be extended by 5 days in JPMC and HR said in call that no revised offer letter based on new joining date will be issued and new joining date confirmation will be somewhat communicated prior to 3 days of onboarding.
However he mentioned he will reply back with a confirmation email on top of the email which I have sent requesting for revised joining date.

Recently received an offer from HCL. The HR guy asked for all the documents and said that I'll be receiving the offer letter within one week. It has been almost 2.5 weeks and no response received from his end. When I called to enquire he said it is taking time to get approval for my expected CTC.

How much time does it takes for them to get such approvals.

And also if they don't have the approvals then why ask for documents before the releasing the offer.
