Hello. I’m completing a bootcamp learning html css JS and now React.Js with 4 projects connecting to APIs. How much would this command in an entry level position?

I was on VISA and therefore I could not jump as I had wanted, my base compensation journey from Y1-Y8 has been: 68k, 72k, 80k, 88k, 104k, 120k, 122k, 132k. Now I just got an offer with base of 160k. If I start the job hopping cycle now (like 1 year job), is it realistic to get to 220k base and 250k TC in about 2-3 years?

Any Account folks work on commission? I’m exploring roles and got an offer I was excited about at a creative agency that has a commission model - which I’ve never encountered. Any clues to what’s fair / common / pros / cons much appreciated. I’ve confirmed with them several times this is an account lead role and not biz dev / new biz, so just feeling surprised it is so close to a 50/50 split too 🧐

I heard through the grapevine that these guys can make bukos of cash but I can't find much online other than hearsay. I know in the DC area they can make upward of 160K or more with a security clearance in non-testifying roles. I heard that directly from a recruiter myself. What do you guys know about the industry? I have moderate-conservative views. My team, 6 other people, are all very left-leaning. Politics isn't usually discussed outright, but the liberal views frequently seep into our meetings. I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

I work in tech and have been at my current company for 6+ years now. I'm basically a senior level data analyst and I'm really the only person at my company with that skill set so I get A LOT of high priority requests from every dept. It can get overwhelming.
The idea was just floated to hire and train 2 analysts to work beneath me so that I can focus more on strategy, big picture and optimizations. Should I be asking for a raise and title change? I did get a pretty decent raise in February too.
