Black women made the career switch from corporate America to entrepreneurship during Covid-19. While it appears entrepreneurship was deemed a necessity, Black women were the largest group of new business owners closely followed by Latina women. These businesses have high growth potential but why is access to finding still a barrier?
Share your thoughts on why.

I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. But due to client work load, i won't be able to do that. So, I have resigned from PSL mentioning the same that promotion will not happen.
But my manager told me that he will try to give me a promotion in next cycle (ignoring the credit points clause). He is asking me to withdraw resign
Shall I withdraw my resign? Persistent

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hey everyone -
Not the exact right bowl, but looking for advice/referrals for a close family friend trying to break into ESG/climate change/sustainability consulting.
They have ~7 YOE in finance (mostly junk debt, some S&T) and 20 YOE in development banking at an IGO (think World Bank, doing everything from public debt offerings, infrastructure, etc. all w heavy ESG/compliance requirements).
Thanks for the help!

Awesome thank you!
With that background, you should be able to apply just about anywhere. The question I would ask is what industries/sectors most interest you? That should help you narrow your scope.
Yeah see that’s my only issue, it’s so vast and I’m indecisive but I just have to hop in at this point. people have told me to get into the big 4 which I’ve already applied to Accenture for now. I’m interested in being a jack of all trades. But I might be more into learning code if anything. Do you recommend any firms to lean into that are more newgrad friendly? Or is it just the same across the board
If you feel like you could be passionate and interested in code I would go for that. Web development, data analysis, and project management are your heavy hitters here for tech, although you could also go into accounting at a big 4.
Yeah im not a math guy, so accounting would be hard for me, I mean formulas are easy to learn it’s just monotonous and I heard it’s stressful. Thanks for the reassurance!
Bunch of great companies out there! Do a quick google sewer heater of product manager roles you would be interested in getting down the line. Would be happy to chat more about about the best approach to move forward. You can book some time in my calendar https://calendly.com/careermastery/strategy
