Hello, I'm looking forward to ask increase next year. The increase itself is around 30% of my current salary. Is it possible to ask that? I'm in the low range right now and the 30% ask is going to average range.

Each situation is different, however It doesn’t hurt to try. Bring forth the evidence as to why you should get such a significant increase. The worst they can say is no… in which case you’re in the same situation you’re in now.
It is possible, I was in your position and am receiving a 25% increase. (Without having a competing offer)
Thank you! Appreciate the help 🙏🏻

Wow 68k is waaaaay low. We start our BI Developers at 90k fully remote F25 company. Lots of openings in health tech. Shop around. You deserve a raise!
I actually going to ask your starting for my raise. I'll try to shop around. Thank you so much for the help.

No you’ll need a competing offer to leverage that kind of an increase.

Yeah just apply, get an offer and present it and ask for a match
That’s a high increase you’re requesting without having an offer. While you may have a point I. Being underpaid if you are performing well, it’s a hard sell to get 30% increase overnight.
I would go out into the market and come back with an offer that’s within your new expected range and take it to your boss. If they value your work they will do their best to match it. If not, be prepared to leave. There is no such thing as loyalty to teams anymore.
Thank you! Lot's of openings right now that I never applies since I really love the team and the environment. But this is something that I have to move on. Appreciate the thoughts!
Liking an environment is not going to give you a bigger paycheck. You might find the same environemnt somewhere else with >30% increase in salary. Change is good and it is rare for a company to give 30% increase in salary even with promotion.
