Just wondering what type of jobs i can be applying for in google. Is there a way to tell from the job title at what level it's for (I understand you get tested on your knowledge and based on that you get your level).

What are people’s experiences or thoughts on a recently promoted manager in MTS making a move to industry, possibly one of the FAANG companies as a manager? Possible or a pipe dream?

Just got into a full time grad program for international affairs that starts in January of 2021. (completely changing careers). Tips on how to let a law firm know you have another offer? I have the final interview tomorrow at the firm and a partner indicated I’d get an offer but I just received another offer from a different company. I want to let this firm know I have an offer but that they remain my first choice…aka speed up the process so I can let the other company know!

I'm currently the Staffing Specialist at my company. I've only been in the field and in my position for 9 months and plan to take the SHRM-CP test in the fall. While I feel confident in what I do, I don't feel so confident in my overall knowledge of HR.

I was recently laid off and got another offer with 10 days but wasn't able to hold on multiple offers as I was immediate joiner. Hence I joined the company but I was skeptical because it is product based food package manufacturing company. this is my 3 rd company.yoe -3.5 .net developer. I was not going to switch because my earlier work was nice. Current with this different industry i feel if I took right decision and will it be ok if I switch again or should I wait for some time.

Made it to final on-site interviews, but just got the email from the recruiter saying they’re passing due to “other candidates that were a stronger match”. I asked the recruiter to have a quick chat to close the loop. Anyone have any experience with this? MBB folks who moved to Google - how is the work culture? I derive a lot of energy from problem-solving, working with my team to refine answer, presenting to senior stakeholders. Does that exist at Google in an individual contributor role? Do people within teams do joint problem solving or everyone is sort of doing their own thing in isolation?
