If you’re an auditor, you should already have exposure to Tech risk through some of the work you’re doing. If not, and if your current organization has an IT audit group, ask to shadow or be assigned to an engagement that could give you exposure to that. Accountants with technology background are in high demand.
All major firms and big corporations have opportunities in IT audit. Look for those specifically under assurance because that’s where they usually are. We have a very strong IT audit practice here at CohnReznick.
