How do you all feel about the two week notice? Do you try to give longer? Shorter? I feel like in our field there is never a good time to leave or enough of a notice. Currently preparing to switch jobs but my managing partner is out of vacay & when he returns it will literally be two weeks before I start my new position.
If the risk of sending over an imperfect thank you note after interview is much higher than not sending one, should I still send one then? From an interviewer perspective, have you ever 1) rejected a candidate because they didn’t send a thank you note, or 2) changed your hiring decision from no to yes due to a great thank you note?

Hi Folks, Just want to share the worst hiring experience i faced while interviewing for Test Lead position for infosys. I cleared all the rounds, post that shared the documents for BGC. Before the process initiation i pre informed them about my cctc, ectc and offer amount inhand. Inspite of all that after waiting for 15days i got a cl from h.r team, they literally got nerve to offer me the amount which is 1.5L less than my cctc. Extreme wastage of bandwidth of the interviewee, Beware
Anyone else good at their job but bad at interviews? Confused because I consistently get rated gold standard, early promo, well liked by teams, but I’ve failed interviews with 20 companies, hit 6 final rounds in the past three months and didn’t get any of the positions.
