I’ve recently been promoted to an Art Director’s title from being a Designer. However, I haven’t received a change in pay and was told that I will have to wait until I reach 1 year with company in the fall/winter cycle to receive the raise that comes with the title change. I currently make 63k with about 3 years of experience. What should I expect in my salary for this promotion to becoming an art director (from a designer)?

Hi, I currently work at a corporate law firm and found out I was being severely underpaid (almost 15k). I asked for them to adjust my salary as people who came into the form after me and have less experience are being paid way more than me. They just said we can’t at this time. I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

Any side hustle ideas? Big 4 compensation is a joke and will be a joke in the next few years 🙃

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).
