Your current job sounds great. If you aren’t sure about the move to government, I’m happy to take it off your hands, lol.
Do you want to litigate? What's so cush about your job?
Yes, I do. At my current job - the pay is good and the caseload manageable (I leave at 5:00 most days). No billables. Good benefits.
Why did you apply if you are happy? The pay is not great and the benefits are not as cheap or extensive as I would have liked. In any event, no harm in chatting with them and seeing what kind of cases you would handle. If you are interviewing for civil, it is pretty laid back. For criminal you may need to give an opening statement that is recorded or answer ethics hypos.
How do your interview go?
