I’ve founded 2 agencies - one brand experience agency and one UX and innovation consultancy - both have been fairly successful in attracting big clients and profitable. But honestly, I’m not sure I want to do it anymore and considering closing shop and applying for jobs/consulting. I’m 39 and feel I have tons to give. Anyone here done that, or had these feelings?
When I have good projects and good client meetings the joy spikes momentarily and I get the buzz, but I can’t shake this itch.
I feel so odd asking. Did anyone decide to not vaccinate a healthy two year old? I am struggling giving it to him for some reason. And I believe in vaccines…
Do you ever come in to an interview with work done for the client you’d be working on? Beyond initial research? Does this show initiative or usually backfire for you as presumptuous?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a referral for ManTech role. Please let me who I can reach out to contact recruiter or anyone from the company to refer for me. Thanks in advance!
Is this new job DOA? I’ve been in my new role 6 weeks after interviewing extensively and getting 5 offers and thinking back on those offers I turned down. I picked this company bc I liked their product and the manager, but I’m already feeling 1. REALLY silo-ed . Not a collaborative environment (even though I’m perfectly capable of doing my own thing.)Like I have entire days I don’t talk to anyone 2. Can’t seem to get my boss’s attention on my priorities that truly should be huge company issues

Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I have 10 months of experience and graduated with majors in cs and bus. I interned once at a big 4 acc firm and once as a software engineer.

So a recruiter reached out to me for a role and wants to set up an interview in the next couple of weeks. Separately a manager from the same company who I previously knew/worked with from another company reached out and wanted to just talk and connect about the role before my interview. Since we chatted I haven’t heard anything from the recruiter about a scheduled interview. Thoughts?
Any Veterans on here working as a Creative in Advertising or Brand side? Looking for a referral for CA remote friendly company. Thank you
Just saw an email from LinkedIn that Deloitte is on a hiring spree for all HcM modules. What are your thoughts for working on Deloitte. Most of the jobs are in US and I am in Canada. Any on-site on how would that work?
Also, Alight or Deloitte?
How do you feel about citizen vigilantes? I appreciate the help they try to provide, but in all honesty, most times I feel like they're just making our job more complicated.
Hey everyone, biology degree here seeking some advice. I’ve been working as a contract dental assistant for the federal Bureau of Prisons for 4 years working my way through college and decided that dental is not for me. I kept the job since it paid for school and the hours worked out, but now I feel stuck as to where to go next. I was thinking of looking more into the biotech route and joining a coding bootcamp to get my foot in the door, but I’m not really sure where that’ll take me.
Hi there! Do we have any coaches for coaches in this group? I.e., coaches that mentor others on how to be a coach?
If you are one or you know any great ones, please drop their names below! ⬇️
Does anyone at Optum have experience with their TDP - Technical Development Program? I was placed into their software engineering team and wanted to know what projects I could be working on and what to prepare for before I start my role.
I am doing a product case study as part of product manager interview and have been asked to choose a product I use. I was thinking of fishbowl, but should I, or could the choice become a concern for them to hire me?
Is this bowl still active? M looking to chat
I'd like to move from operations into AML/KYC. Which qualifications could I do that are widely recognised in the UK?
Qualcomm offers such a great salary and perks. They allocate shares worth > INR 20 lakhs per annum to senior engineer and it keeps on increasing with experience and position. This is over and above base pay and bonus. Does any other company give so many benefits? @qualcomm
Epic Analyst FTE salary transparency- looking to see what current numbers are out there based on position and rough geographic cost of living. I’m an Associate analyst (a few months out from being bumped to a full Epic Analyst), 72k HCOL west coast. I do RTE mostly, sprinkle in overflow from Prelude and GC.
I wonder how many upvotes from Droga people I’ll need before Ted Royer gets off his lazy ass and hires me already.
What's the best high interest savings account?
I'm looking to open one.
And what's the interest rate?
Need help with the salary break-up. The break-up I have received contains various components like uniform allowance, professional development etc. Although the HR claoms they're supposed to be tax saving, I am not really sure how. I will really appreciate if someone can comment their views on this.
Does anyone else have a hard time with the hierarchy of law firms? I haven’t worked in every field but it seems like not all bosses have the expectations of bowing and scraping that law firm partners do. The fact that they review me at the end of the year but I don’t get to review them seems unbalanced (besides the fact that they’re paying me, which makes it all worth it, just not forever).
Hey GSAPers, how does the salary increase each year for top performers upon return to the firm? How much would you be making TC at first year M?

Is NYC currently hiring ICE General attorneys? I applied in January and haven’t seen any updates since the referral to the local hiring manager.
Is it normal to wait a month after submitting an application before the application status changes from “received”?
Could anyone elaborate on or point me in the direction for info on AUSAs, when it comes to restrictions on trading securities? I know the SEC is very strict and has a blanket rule for all attorneys, but not sure about DOJ attorneys (and whether it depends on what office/unit/section you’re in).
Assuming personal interest in each agency’s work is equal, any benefits or advantages to joining one of the three over the others: SEC, DOJ (antitrust, market integrity, etc.), or FTC?
Any pros/cons in taking a 3 year term appointment? I am curious if this would make me any more or less marketable when positioning for other federal positions down the line? TIA!

Are there any headhunters out there that work on getting people into a government attorney position?
Has anyone had success renegotiating pay while remaining in the same position? The last two years have significantly changed my local market and the less-than-inflation federal pay raises are not cutting it. I'd be seeking 3 steps within my current grade, but I don't know if my management even has a mechanism to make the change if they wanted to. I am aware of the Quality Step Increase, but I don't think that's the solution here.
What kind of security clearance do attorney positions with domestic agencies require? I’ve been disincentivized from seeking positions with the federal government because I’m not confident about my ability to obtain a TS clearance (high short term and medium term debt, bad credit, messy bank statements, expunged misdemeanors). But I’m not trying to stay in big law if I could land federal government at half the salary. Is it worth pursuing before cleaning up my risk factors?
Your current job sounds great. If you aren’t sure about the move to government, I’m happy to take it off your hands, lol.
Do you want to litigate? What's so cush about your job?
Yes, I do. At my current job - the pay is good and the caseload manageable (I leave at 5:00 most days). No billables. Good benefits.
Why did you apply if you are happy? The pay is not great and the benefits are not as cheap or extensive as I would have liked. In any event, no harm in chatting with them and seeing what kind of cases you would handle. If you are interviewing for civil, it is pretty laid back. For criminal you may need to give an opening statement that is recorded or answer ethics hypos.
How do your interview go?
I would gladly take the interview for ausa. It's a dream job! How did you get the interview?
