I’ve been at my current company under a year, but I am so tired of it already (the people, the work, and clients). I feel burned out from agency life and have been applying for other roles that are in house/non agency but haven’t heard back. Almost every day I feel like calling my boss and quitting but since job hunting is going slow for me, I’m scared that I’ll run out of savings to cover mortgage and other expenses. Sigh.

Has anyone successfully moved from FS Ops/Strategic Transformation to CDD? 6 YOE and frustrated I don’t have expertise in a specific skill set (e.g. financial modeling, valuations, etc) and thinking I’m better suited for more transactional type work. Love to hear any success stories.

From what I have researched so far, my client related work in advertising sounds very similar to a consultant’s day-to-day.

Between client relations, developing brand strategies, analysing data, and implementations, I feel as if I’ve built a career that can easily transfer into consulting.

I've recently got OL from Deloitte with Bangalore as base location. My preference would be chennai and i was told by hiring manager and HR that they will revise it to Chennai in the OL once they have physical office in place in Chennai. On the other hand I had requested them to give WFH until they have office opened in chennai as I'm in situation where I can't move to Bangalore. My doubt is should I trust their transparency or shall I go ahead with the other Chennai offer I have
